Less nightclub, more cult social bar, 1979 draws inspiration from the late ’70s and early ’80s, when disco met punk and romance met grit. 

At its heart is the music. Soundtracked by icons and outsiders… Blondie and Grace Jones, Talking Heads and The Clash, Giorgio Moroder and Prince, Sylvester and slow burn disco for the dreamers and the beautifully undone.
